Willow weaving is a great way to learn about traditional techniques and natural materials. This whole day workshop is led by Cambridgeshire sculptor and weaver Jane Frost, who will provide you with skills to make unique and attractive p lant supports, perfect for training flowers or vegetables in the garden.

Workshops are led by sculptor and weaver Jane Frost who will take you through all the techniques necessary to make, everyone will go home with a finished basket they can be proud of.

Maximum 6 places enable a really good learning experience. All tools and materials are supplied. This workshop is suitable for everyone over the age of 16, complete beginners and those who have done willow weaving before. Jane has great experience teaching all age groups with a variety of needs.

Important Information

Participants need to have a reasonable amount of strength in both hands to be able to work with the willow.

Please wear older clothes, such as you would wear for gardening, sandals are not advisable.

Willow needs to be prepared at least a week in advance for each workshop. Therefore, if workshops are cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, bookings will be transferred to alternative dates. No refunds will be given.
