Making, archiving and more
Slow Making
Slow Art Day 2026
April 11th is Slow Art Day this year. Here are some images to take time with, no need for explanations or descriptions,
After a busy week of conversations, editing an online archive of work, as well as planning for the year ahead it seems appropriate to stop and reflect before starting on physical work and making.
Taking time to look at the wide variety of work I have been involved with many people and places has been encouraging. The textures, smells and conversations that took place in the process of making are sometimes more significant than the 'finished' artwork.
