Willow weaving is a great way to learn about traditional techniques and natural materials. This whole day workshop is led by Cambridgeshire sculptor and weaver Jane Frost.

Oakington Garden Centre's Olive Tree Cafe has good food made fresh each day and will provide students with a light lunch, included in the workshop price. Please provide dietary requirements when booking this workshop, thank you.
Workshops are led by sculptor and weaver Jane Frost who will take you through all the techniques necessary to make, everyone will go home with a finished, unique and attractive plant support they can be proud of. Ready for flowers or vegetables to grow in the spring.
Maximum 6 places enable a really good learning experience. This workshop is suitable for everyone over the age of 16, complete beginners and those who have done willow weaving before. Jane has great experience teaching all age groups with a variety of needs.

Important Information
Participants need to have a reasonable amount of strength in both hands to be able to work with the willow.
Please wear older clothes, such as you would wear for gardening, sandals are not advisable.
Willow needs to be prepared at least a week in advance for each workshop. Therefore, if workshops are cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, bookings will be transferred to alternative dates. No refunds will be given.
