Exciting new Willow workshops at Oakington Garden Centre near Cambridge.
Willow weaving is a great way to learn about traditional techniques and natural materials. This 2 hour workshop is designed for families to enjoy learning together to make bird feeders and flowers for the garden.

Maximum 10 places, maximum 2 children per adult. to enable a really good learning experience. All tools and materials are supplied. Children must be accompanied by a parent or carer.
Workshops led by sculptor and weaver Jane Frost who will take you through all the techniques necessary to make your piece and everyone will go home with a finished sculpture they can be proud of.
Jane has more than 20 years’ experience, teaching all age groups with different needs and abilities.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
You will need to have a reasonable amount of strength in both your hands to be able to work with the willow. Please wear older clothes, such as you would wear for gardening, sandals are not advisable.
Willow needs to be prepared at least a week in advance for each workshop. Therefore if workshops are cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, bookings will be transferred to alternative dates. No refunds will be given.
Oakington Garden Centre is just over 7 miles from Cambridge with plentiful free parking on site.
